MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – A suicide blast killed at least three people and injured two others in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu on Tuesday, police said.
While being pursued by security forces, a man detonated a suicide vest outside Al Hindi restaurant near the office of the mayor of Mogadishu, police added.
Al-Qaeda-aligned militant group Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility, saying it targeted security officials. It said there were casualties but did not not give further details.
