MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Somalia’s Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre on Thursday vowed support for Hamas as death toll from Israeli ground and air offensive in the besieged Gaza Strip rises to 9,000, Caasimada Online news website reported.
Speaking at a ceremony held at the National Theater, Barre said his government is ready to provide full support to the organization, weeks after US and European governments called them “terrorists” for the October 7th attack on Israel.
“Hamas is not a terrorist organization, they are freedom fighters. We should support them,” the Somali Premier said.
