MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Egypt on Tuesday welcomed the lifting of decades-long arms embargo on Somalia by the United Nations Security Council.
“This resolution paves the way for the Somali government to continue its efforts on combating terrorism and achieving stability,” Egyptian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
