MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Somalia’s President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud on Thursday arrived in the capital of the United Arab Emirates Dubai for COP28 climate summit, his office said.
The visit is aimed to “draw attention to the climate-inducted humanitarian situation in Somalia,” Villa Somalia said.
“With 1 million citizens displaced by El Nino, the focus is to garner timely international cooperation and support,” it added.
