MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Finland’s Foreign Minister Pekka Haavisto discussed with Somali leaders Russian invasion of Ukraine in a visit to Somalia’s capital Mogadishu last week, Finnish Foreign Ministry has said.
“The topics of the meetings[with Somali leaders] included Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, bilateral relations between Finland and Somalia, political and peace processes in Somalia and the Horn of Africa, and environmental and climate matters,” the statement reads.
Somali authorities have not yet commented on the assertion.
