MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Malaysia’s new Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said on Saturday his country is willing to further advance diplomatic ties with Somalia, days after he had been sworn in on Thursday.
“Malaysia too is keen to enhance ties with Somalia, realise mutually beneficial gains for our two brotherly countries,” Malaysian new Premier replied to a tweet by Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud congratulating him on election win.
Somali President Mohamud said Somalia “looks forward to enhancing bilateral relations between our two brotherly countries in all areas of mutual benefit.”
