ANKARA (Somaliguardian) – Turkey’s parliament on Wednesday approved an extension of military missions in Somalia, the Gulf of Aden and the Arabian Sea.
Members of the Turkish parliament endorsed a motion extending the authorization of the troop deployments until February 10 2023.
It is the 14th time Ankara has extended the presence of its forces in the Gulf of Aden since it was first approved by parliament 2008.
