DUBAI (Somaliguardian) –Israeli military has struck at targets in southern Syria in response to shells from the Syrian territory, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said on twitter.
“Earlier today, ammunition was fired from Syria towards Israel. In response, our jets struck at military targets in Southern Syria belonging to the Syrian armed forces,” said IDF.
Israel blamed Syrian regime for the incident and vowed that it would respond to any violation against its sovereignty.
Syrian news Agency, SANA also reported the Israeli attack which took place at 23:00 local time. It said Israeli aircraft bombarded three military installations in Quneitra area, as a result of which, two Syrian soldiers were slightly injured. In addition, the attack resulted in a small bush fire.
