MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Somalia’s President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud convened an emergency security meeting on a recent suicide bomb attack at a military academy in Mogadishu, days after returning from a working visit to Italy, Caasimada Online news website reported on Saturday.
During the meeting, security officials briefed the President about the attack claimed by Al-Shabaab which left at least 30 soldiers dead and more than 70 others wounded.
Mohamud ordered a thorough and swift investigation into what happed, and how the attacker was able to enter the highly-protected compound.
