HARGEISA (Somaliguardian) – Eight people, including Somaliland army officers were freed after being kidnapped by armed assailants in Sahil region, a regional MP Hassan Ogal said on Wednesday.
The people had arrived in Ga’an Libah in the coastal region to assess the situation in the villages surrounding the area before they were kidnapped by armed militias against the administration of the incumbent President Muse Bihi Abdi.
