MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – A dispute between the leaders of central Somalia’s Galmudug state has been resolved following weeks-long political wrangling, regional vice president Ali Dahir Eid said on Thursday.
It comes weeks after Galmudug vice president accused regional President Ahmed Qoorqoor of undermining military operations against Al-Shabaab and of national treason.
There have been no details about how the differences between the two regional leaders were solved and whether there was interference from the federal government.
