MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – At least 20 wounded after artillery shells fired by Somaliland troops landed on residential areas in the war-hit northern Somali town of Lasanod, Caasimada Online news website reported on Thursday.
It came days after traditional leaders seeking to mediate an end to the months-long conflict reached the town and the Somaliland capital Hargeisa, holding talks with officials from both sides.
