MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Somalia’s President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud said on Sunday the Sudanese Rapid Support Forces (RSF) must accept integration into the country’s regular forces to end the war raging in the East African nation.
Speaking at a zoom meeting with the leaders of the Inter-governmental Authority for Development (IGAD), Mohamud called on the parties to the conflict in Sudan to resolve their differences through dialogue and come to a mutual agreement.
He urged Sudanese leader Abdel Fattah Al Burhan to open the doors for the militias fighting to topple his government in an effort to prevent a further spill of blood.
