MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Somalia’s President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud on Sunday arrived in Eritrea for a working visit and met his counterpart Isaias Afwerki, his office said.
Mohamud’s trip to the East African country is his fourth since last year.
He is set to hold talks with his Eritrean counterpart on Somali troops receiving training in Eritrea. Thousands of Somali forces trained by Asmara are currently taking part in operations against the militant group in the central regions of Galgadud and Hiran.
