MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Somalia’s President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud on Tuesday arrived in the town of Jowhar in an attempt to bring an end to a rift between Hirshabelle regional officials, Caasimada Online news website reported.
Mohamud was welcomed at Jowhar Airport by Hirshabelle President Ali Gudlawe and other local officials.
After wrapping up his undisclosed visit to Jowhar, Somali President will travel to the frontline town of Gal’ad in Galgadud regional and other areas in the region where he will meet soldiers battling Al-Shabaab insurgents.
