MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Somalia’s government on Saturday welcomed a recent ruling by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) that had ordered Israel to prevent acts of Genocide in the Gaza Strip.
“The Federal Republic of Somalia extends its wholehearted support for the recent decision by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to assert primary jurisdiction in investigation Israel’s commission of genocide in the Gaza Strip,” Somali Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
“The Federal Republic of Somalia remains steadfast in its solidarity with the Palestinian people and will continue to advocate for peace, justice and the realization of their fundamental rights on the global stage.”
