MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Somalia’s government on Wednesday condemned Israeli bombing of the Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza on Tuesday that left at least 500 people dead and a number of others wounded.
In a statement, the Somali Ministry of Foreign Affairs accused Israel of violating the international law by committing genocide against Palestinian civilians and denying them access to water, food and electricity.
Somalia also called for an immediate intervention by the international community to prevent further massacres against Palestinians by Israeli occupation forces and to allow safe corridors for life-saving humanitarian aid delivery.
