MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – The director of Somali Cable TV Abdifatah Moalim Nur Qays was killed in an Al-Shabaab-claimed suicide bomb attack at a teashop in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu on Monday.
The attack took place around 9pm at Bluesky teashop near the city’s national museum in Bondhere district, police said.
In a Facebook post, Somali Cable TV confirmed the death of its director, saying he had been pronounced dead after being rushed to a Turkish hospital in the city.
