MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Somalia’s Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre on Tuesday inspected members of the Gorgor Somali special forces who are receiving training at a Turkish military base in Mogadishu, his office said.
The Premier and his delegation toured TurkSom, Turkey’s largest overseas base, where he met Somali army trainees and their Turkish instructors.
“PM Barre noted that TurkSom produced a fighting force and officers who significantly improved the country’s security,” his office tweeted.
