Somalia’s PM attends ceremony marking Turkey’s 100th anniversary

MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Somalia’s Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre on Monday attended a ceremony marking the 100th anniversary of the creation of modern republic of Turkey from the ruins of the Ottoman Empire.

Speaking at the event held at Turkish embassy in Mogadishu, Barre “emphasized that the bond between the two brotherly nations extends far beyond economic and diplomatic ties”, his media office said.

“He underscored shared values and a deep emotional connection, highlighting the vision to further strengthen the partnership between #Somalia and #Türkiye for the forthcoming century.”
