MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Somalia’s government asked the United Arab Emirates for support in rebuilding bridges and other key infrastructure destroyed by recent floods, Universal TV reported on Sunday.
In a meeting held in Mogadishu, the director of the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA) Mohamud Moalim Abdulle urged the ambassador of the United Arab Emirates Ahmed Juma Al Rumaithi to offer funding support needed to reconstruct bridges and roads washed away by flood waters.
