MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Somalia’s government on Monday condemned the burning of the Muslim holy book by a Swedish-Danish far-right politician and described the move as “unacceptable”.

In a statement, Somali Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the stunt carried out by Rasmus Paludan, leader of the Danish far-right political party outside the Turkish embassy in Sweden under the protection of police on Friday, could incite “hate and racism” while also “serving the agendas of extremism and terrorism.”
