MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Somalia’s President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud on Thursday endorsed directives approved by cabinet in a meeting chaired by the Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre.
“The directives focus on combatting corruption and fostering accountability, aiming to strengthen public financial management systems and meritocracy, as well as improve the efficiency and effectiveness of government institutions,” Villa Somalia said in a statement.
