MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Somaliland President Muse Bihi Abdi dismissed several key ministers in a new cabinet reshuffle on Tuesday as the break-away region battles the forces of the neighboring SSC Somali federal member state.
Bihi sacked the ministers of Technology Abdiweli Sufi, Investment Abdi Osman and Religious Affairs Abdirisak Albani.
It comes as the break-away region’s leader faces an immense pressure to hold delayed presidential vote and to retake control of Lasanod town and other areas in Sool region which are currently held by troops loyal to SSC authorities.
